At Happy Little Crowd, it’s all about bringing unforgettable live music experiences to Windsor. What started as a deep personal passion for music — from guitar riffs to hip hop beats — has evolved into a commitment to creating nights people will never forget.

Born out of a love for live shows and a desire to help build the local music scene, Happy Little Crowd Productions has booked artists like Washed Out, Broken Social Scene, Weakened Friends, and The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die — always with the goal of giving music fans the kind of nights they’ll be talking about for years.

We believe in the power of music to move people, inspire connection, and create lasting memories. Every show is a chance to share that love, and we’re just getting started.

Let’s see who we can bring to town next.

More About me eh?

For as long as I can remember, if I had a dollar in my pocket, I was figuring out how to spend it on music. Whether it was strategically figuring out how to buy CD’s on family shopping trips to The Price Club, or how we could stop at Zellers on the way home from a family vacation when the Foo Fighters released their first album…my mind was on music.

I’d pick up the guitar eventually, and eventually I’d put the guitar down and get into hip hop for a bit, then back to guitar…but it was always about music.

As life progressed, adult things took over and the music had to be put on the back burner. But no matter what I did in life, it was always calling me. I worked at RBC (top Canadian bank) for a few years, and I found myself more interested in their background music than the job. That lead to me trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life.

I wanted music, but I didn’t know how to make that happen, so I chose personal training. I quickly found myself more interested in the background music than the workouts I was leading.

This lead me to volunteering to help open a new venue in Windsor. I then became a janitor in my 30s…cleaning up your puke. That lead to working the door. Then bartending and helping with managing. Eventually I got asked to book bands.

I booked a few at The Rondo, Plants & Animals being the memorable one. Eventually I started Happy Little Crowd and decided to start with a bang. I booked Washed Out right away…wrote an essay to book Broken Social Scene.

Then there was a time I almost gave up on this during Covid, but I went out to a body of water near where I live, basically to be in nature and accept that I might have to pack it in. But while out there a band I booked called Weakened Friends came up on the playlist I was listening to. The song was called “Not Doing Good” The title spoke to me, but the music really did. Something about it brought out an emotion in me that inspired me to keep going…and here we are still.

I recently booked The World Is A Beautiful Place And I’m No Longer Afraid To Die, which just happens to be one of my favs. I live for booking your favs.

I live for seeing you have your best nights out centred around music. I’m beyond excited to see which bands and artists we can bring to town going ahead!
